Overview Nordson Precision Agriculture seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D Mechanical Engineering team. In this role you will design and develop advanced mechanical and mechatronics systems that power next-generation precision agriculture equipment. Work at our headquarters in Rubiera, Italy as a permanent position, reporting directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. Responsibilities Research, design, and develop advanced mechanical and hydraulic fluid transfer systems for precision agriculture. Drive innovation to ensure every product meets and exceeds quality expectations and industry standards throughout development and production. Support continuous improvement, cost optimization, and efficiency initiatives. Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver reliable solutions that meet customer needs. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Excellent command of CAD tools and PLM. Strong experience in plastic injection-molded component design. Solid knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Understanding of project management principles and FMEA. Experience with FEM simulation is a plus.Intermediate level of English. Who You Are Analytical mindset with a hands-on approach.
