Overview The Security Engineer reports directly to the Security Department Manager of Rome Operating Center (ROC) and joins the QHSES team based in Rome, Italy. About the role The Security Engineer is responsible for the implementation of a Global Security Program or Security & Incident Management systems within their scope. This role covers the security aspects of all Rome OC & Cluster and Projects as instructed by the Rome OC Security Department Manager, ensures that Security and Incident Management Global Practice Standards (GPS) are implemented on Rome OC & Cluster and Projects, and supports Local Security Managers / Correspondents within respective Operating Centers and Projects. Reporting to : functionally & operationally to the Rome OC Security Department Manager. Key Interactions Internally: Security network, HSE, Medical, Construction, Projects, Communication, Legal, IDS, P&C, Workplace Environment, Travel.Externally: Private Security Company(ies) - Security Provider(s). Main Accountabilities Contributes to the implementation and maintains relevant Security plans and procedures according to his/her scope and responsibility. Contributes to the realization of security assessments and inspections, reports inconsistencies and contributes to the improvement of Security and Incident Management Systems. Monitors security performance and KPI’s according to his/her scope and responsibility. Provides support to business/management on security topics under his/her responsibility. Conducts and maintains worksite Security Risk Assessment (SRA). Ensures POS is available and updated. Ensures a Site Security induction is in place, delivered and recorded. Participates in setting up the Emergency Response and Incident Management structure for the site. Actions on required physical security measures should T.EN be responsible for site security in Projects & Facilities. Participates in the animation of a Global security network on the topics under his/her responsibility. Supports in the training of the security network on Global Security programs under his/her responsibility. Travel Requirements to travel in areas where the Company is currently working, including but not limited to Europe, Middle East and North Africa Area for both short and permanent relocation abroad up to two years, depending on Projects and situation needs.
