Role Overview We are seeking a Master's student in electronics engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field to develop a microwave-assisted lysis platform as part of a master thesis. The project will involve studying the state-of-the-art in cell lysis, designing the hardware, and supporting firmware and software development. The goal is to create a compact, rapid, and reagent usage solution that can be embedded in automated platforms or point-of-care devices. Responsibilities Study the state of the art in cell lysis and microwave bioprocessing. Contribute to hardware design and development of the electronic board. Support firmware and software development. Take part in prototyping of the electronic system. Perform testing and data analysis. Qualifications Master's student in electronics engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field. Familiarity with programming languages such as C and Python. Interest in microwave, radio-frequency electronics systems, and biomedical applications. Good analytical and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
